Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, are presently shooting for Rensil D’ Silva’s film in New York. Few days back Saif had voiced his desire to take Kareena for a vacation to a lonely place where the couple could spend some private moments together. After finishing their shoot in a couple of days Saif is taking her to Italy’s most exclusive and expensive resort for 10 days. More than a year of steady relationship and tons of romance with Kareena Kapoor hasn’t made Saif Ali Khan comfortable enough to kiss her on screen without being conscious.
It’s not that Saif is not at ease while docking his lips with Kareena’s, he’s just cautious of overdoing it. Since the couple shares a great deal of intimacy in their personal lives, Saif was wary that it would spill out in front of the camera while doing intimate scenes with Kareena in director Rensil D’Silva’s film Jihad .
Though the couple had no qualms in kissing on screen or doing love scenes, they had to be careful about not crossing “the limit” after which the scene becomes a show-reel of their real romance.
“…we have taken care that there isn’t anything that will make us squirm while watching the film with our parents. We’ve done the scenes tastefully and within the limits of decorum,” Saif is quoted as saying by a Mumbai tabloid.
Saif said that doing intimate scenes with Kareena was a “double-edged sword”. On the one hand, they had to restrict their intimacy for the fear of overdoing it, on the other they had to make sure that the scene was passionate enough. So it was pretty much like walking a tight rope.

Payal says, “Saif used to practice yoga on and off during Tashan, but has taken it up seriously for the past two months. He now swears by yoga and practices it whenever he is free. He likes to go for a class after he is tired, because it rejuvenates and energises him. The class lasts an hour.”
About the weight loss, she says, “Saif hasn’t lost weight as such, but he has lost inches. He has got lean and looks much younger; he has a glow on his face. He was very stiff earlier, but now that is changing. It will help him become a better dancer. Saif also goes to the gym because, being an actor and a star, he cannot get very lean. He is aiming at a slim and healthy body without six pack abs for Agent Vinod.”
Saif is extremely curious about his routine. “Whenever Saif is doing an Asana, he wants to know how it will affect him internally. He is a scientific question-answer sort of guy. Since he knows how the asana or posture will affect him, he is able to perform it better,” says the yoga expert. About the asanas or postures that Saif does, Payal says, “His body has to open up and become flexible now, so the asanas are simple and basic. Doing 50 Surya Namaskars is a cakewalk for him, and that provides his entire body with a cardiovascular workout. He also does forward bending, back bending, spine stretches and inner thigh stretches. The idea is to loosen up his body. He likes all kinds of asanas. We are focusing on balancing and co-ordination right now, and he is a good learner.”
Saif is allowed to eat everything. “Saif has to follow a nutritious and balanced diet. There are no restrictions on anything as long as he eats in moderation and does not overeat,” says the trainer. Payal trains Saif and Kareena together, so how are they different when it comes to working out? “Kareena has been doing yoga for four years now, so her flexibility and endurance levels are much higher. She can hold a posture much longer than Saif can. However, Saif has started training only recently, so given another six months to a year, he will become as flexible as Bebo!” Feedback
